Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of SpeakReady, including the SpeakReady mobile app and website. By using SpeakReady, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

About SpeakReady

SpeakReady provides English learning tools, including conversation practice, speech practice, vocabulary support, pronunciation activities, and role-play exercises. Some features use language processing, speech recognition, transcription, and generated audio.

Accounts and Sign-In

You may use SpeakReady with a guest account or sign in with a supported provider such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.

If you link a guest account to a new sign-in provider account, SpeakReady may keep the same app account, gems, conversation history, and feature usage information. If the provider account already belongs to another SpeakReady account, the app may sign you in to that existing account instead and will not merge or migrate guest gems, conversation history, or feature usage information.

Gems

SpeakReady may use gems to measure and limit access to language and speech features. Gems are in-app access units only. They have no cash value, are not a bank account or stored value product, and are not transferable. Free or promotional gems may be limited, changed, or discontinued.

If paid gem packages or subscriptions are offered, purchase details will be shown at checkout. Payments may be handled by Apple, an app store, or another payment provider under their own terms.

Generated Learning Content

Generated content, transcriptions, translations, pronunciation feedback, role-play messages, and vocabulary suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. SpeakReady is a learning tool and does not provide professional, legal, medical, financial, or immigration advice.

Your Content

You are responsible for the text, audio, prompts, messages, and other content you submit to SpeakReady. You grant SpeakReady a limited right to process your content as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse SpeakReady. You must not:

• use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activity;
• submit content that infringes another person's rights;
• attempt to bypass gem limits, account restrictions, or security controls;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service;
• use SpeakReady to create malware, spam, harassment, or harmful instructions.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and delete information. By using SpeakReady, you agree that information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

We work to keep SpeakReady available, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Features may change, pause, or end over time.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the service, attempted fraud, created security risk, or used the app in a way that harms other users or SpeakReady.

Intellectual Property

SpeakReady, including its design, software, branding, and content, is owned by SpeakReady or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of SpeakReady to you.

Disclaimers

SpeakReady is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakReady will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where required by law. Continued use of SpeakReady after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
